This Privacy Policy explains how Hilse Team (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Hilse mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

1) Scope

This Policy applies to information processed by the Service. It does not cover third-party services you may access from or share content to (for example, messaging or social platforms).

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account information (provided by you): name, username, email address.
  • Customer support content (provided by you): messages and materials you choose to send to support.
  • Content you choose to provide: photos/images and optional text used to create stickers and emojis.
  • Automatically collected: device information, usage statistics, performance metrics, crash logs, diagnostics.
  • Location (with permission): approximate or precise location depending on your settings.
  • Cookies / similar technologies: used for login sessions and preferences (and may include web beacons for measurement and reliability).

3) Photos and Face Data

  • We do not perform face recognition and do not create biometric templates.
  • Your photos/text are not used for advertising or marketing profiling.
  • Your photos/text are not used to train third-party models.

4) AI / Server Processing for Sticker & Emoji Generation

Some features may use automated processing (including machine-learning techniques) to generate or refine stickers/emojis based on the images or text you provide.

  • You control uploads: you decide whether to upload images/text and whether to generate content.
  • Processed on our servers: when server processing is used, uploads are processed on Hilse Team controlled servers.
  • No third-party sharing for processing: we do not share uploaded images/text with third parties for this processing.
  • Deletion after processing: we delete uploaded inputs promptly after processing is completed (generally immediately after output is produced, subject to short-lived technical needs).
  • Default storage: created sticker outputs are stored on your device unless you export/share them elsewhere.

5) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service.
  • Personalize your experience (preferences).
  • Improve reliability, performance, and features.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention.
  • Customer support.
  • Legal compliance and enforcement.

We do not sell your personal information.

6) Sharing

We share information only when necessary and on a minimum-necessary basis:

  • With your consent or at your direction (e.g., export/sharing you initiate).
  • With service providers acting as processors under confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • For legal reasons or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • During corporate events (e.g., merger/acquisition) as permitted by law.

7) International Transfers

We may process information outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

8) Security

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
  • Access controls and least-privilege permissions.
  • Regular security reviews/audits and monitoring.
  • Backups and recovery procedures.

9) Retention

  • Account data: for the duration of your account.
  • After account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days where feasible (unless legally required otherwise).
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Support content: up to 6 months (or longer if needed to resolve issues or comply with law).

10) Your Rights

11) Children / Age 17+

The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

12) Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date.

13) Governing Law & Disputes

This Policy is governed by the laws of Hilse Team’s principal place of business (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration to the extent permitted by applicable law (see the Terms for more details).
